WHO WE ARE
A unified voice for arts education across the state of Utah
The Utah Arts Education Partners (UAEP) is a partnership between professional arts education organizations in Utah. Created to strengthen the voice for arts education in schools, the Utah Art Education Association (UAEA), Utah Music Educators Association (UMEA), Utah Dance Education Association (UDEO), and Utah Advisory Council of Theatre Teachers (UACTT) have banded together as a collective voice of advocacy for arts education and to launch the Arts for Life Utah and Crescendo initiatives. Collaborators include representatives from the Utah Division of Arts and Museums and the Utah State Board of Education. BYU Arts Partnership and UVU provide backbone support, with additional funding from Art Works for Kids.

STAY INFORMED
How can you advocate for the arts?
1. Teachers, parents, and community members can tell the meaningful stories of what is happening in classrooms, schools, and districts to people in their sphere of influence.
2. Submit a story about how the arts have impacted you. Write 50–500 words and submit your story with a photo to artsforlifeutah@gmail.com. Your story will appear in our collection.
3. Display publicity for arts advocacy in classrooms and in playbills and concert programs. See ideas here.
